If you have acquired your CCNA certification, you are now eligible for the CISCO intermediate level certification for the networking professional. While you learnt to handle small to medium networks in CCNA, CCNP will equip you with the know-how to handle large networks.

The course stresses the installation and maintenance of large networks, to the tune of 500 and more nodes. The certification is issued after completion of four exams:

CCNP

Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI)

Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN)

Secure Converged Wide Area Networks (ISCW)

Optimizing Converged Cisco Networks (ONT)

.

After completion of this course, students will be able to manage the administration of WAN and all networks containing CISCO routers and switches, EtherChannels, Ipv6, QoS and VPNs

The CCNA is required to qualify for CCNP
