Higher Diploma leading to BSc Honours in Information Technology
Tutor Led, Practical Oriented and Hands-on


The Higher Diploma programme is for students pursuing or planning to pursue a successful career in Information Technology. The main objective of this programme is to enhance practical computer skills across a wide spectrum to build a sound foundation for Information Technology, Computer Communications, Computer Networking, Databases and Graphics and Design. The programme is able to offer exemptions from the modules of several designated BSc Honours Computing Degrees from Middlesex University. It also provides a useful preparation for professional certification in respective fields. Divided into eight modules, the programme is spread over 2 yrs at London College with the option of progressing onto a final year at Middlesex University. All students take mandatory core modules in Applications, Hardware and Networking Design, Web Technologies and Databases. Students can then choose from a wide range of elective modules including: Operating Systems, Programming, E-Commerce, Database Programming and Database Administration.
