PRINCE2™ Foundation Course

The Prince 2 Foundation Course is the first of two milestones to cross to become a PRINCE2™ Practitioner. This course helps students understand the PRINCE2™ principles and techniques of delivering projects. It also enables efficient participation in a PRINCE2™ project environment.

The course will help students describe

• The objectives and core content of all roles, processes and techniques of major management products
• Correlation between key processes, roles and deliverables
• Input and output required from management products for the processes


A one-hour closed book examination is used to evaluate candidates at the end of the course.





PRINCE2™ Practitioner Course

The objective of this course is to

• Test a candidate's competence of applying skills acquired in the foundation course in operating and managing a project within a PRINCE2™ environment.
• Assess the problem solving capacity of a candidate in a project scenario.



In order to be eligible for this course a candidate should have

• Passed the PRINCE2™ Foundation level course.



The course covers:

• Detail processes, techniques and application of PRINCE2™ products to project scenarios
• Understanding the logic behind processes and components
• Correlation between processes, techniques, components and PRINCE2™ products
• Alignment of PRINCE2™ to different project circumstances.


The course examination:
• A three-hour open book exam with 9 questions of 40 marks each
• A minimum score of 180 out of 360 marks to pass this course.
